In Your Corner campaign – men we need your views – please complete the short survey

In February 2018 the men’s mental health campaign “In Your Corner”, was launched in Warrington. We now want to know whether local men are aware of the Warrington “In Your Corner”, campaign and if so what they think of it. If you are a man who lives or works in Warrington, then we’re keen to hear your opinion.

Please complete this short online survey to tell us your views. Men who fill in the survey will have the chance to win either a £30 Love to Shop voucher or a ticket to a Warrington Wolves match. The survey will be open until the end of February 2019.

We developed the Warrington In Your Corner campaign, as we want to make sure that men get the information, advice and support that they need, either to maintain their mental wellbeing; or to recover, if they’re experiencing mental health problems. You can help us achieve this, by completing the survey and by forwarding the survey through your networks and encouraging men to tell us their views on the campaign.

If you can’t cope

The stress and strain of everyday life can affect everyone. If you’re finding it hard to cope it’s important to ask for support. Try talking to someone you trust such as a friend, a colleague, or your GP. You could also visit Warrington’s mental health awareness website, which has links to information about looking after your wellbeing; and directories of mental health support services, including a section especially for men.

Or you could contact Samaritans on 116 123 any time night or day; PAPYRUS’ HOPELineUK on 0800 068 41 41, which offers support to young people; or CALM, which provides support and information to men. CALM’s helpline and webchat services are open from 5.00pm to midnight every day, tel. 0800 58 58 58. Calls are free, confidential and anonymous.
