Our role is to enable people to feedback their views and experiences of the health and social care services they receive and for their input to influence how services are planned and delivered in the future.”

Do you have a real interest and passion for improving health and social care services in Warrington?
We are recruiting for a new Chair of the Healthwatch Warrington Advisory Board.
Working closely with a small staff team, and our committed volunteers, you'll help Healthwatch Warrington to make a positive change in local health and care. You'll have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to lead the organisation in line with our vision and values.
Key knowledge/skills required:
- Experience of health and social care services in Warrington
- Awareness of current health and social care issues facing residents in Warrington.
- A strategic understanding of the role of relevant public bodies and how public engagement can influence them
- High level of communication skills with the ability to engage with people in different capacities and with different communities
- The ability to act on behalf of others at all levels of

The Chair will be supported by the manager and staff of Healthwatch Warrington and Engaging Communities ECS, the contract holder. This is a voluntary position, an honorarium payment of £4,000 per annum will be offered and expenses will be reimbursed in line with our policies. It is envisaged that the chair’s responsibilities would require a time commitment of around four to five days per month.
