requested a short consultation with a GP. The lady I spoke with was clearly not listening to me and I had to repeat myself numerous times. Eventually, and with what can only be described as an irritated tone, she told me that the Practice Manager would call me back. Not at all what was required as I needed medical advice from a medical professional, but I accepted. I heard nothing further for 2 days. I called the surgery again and explained that I had been told the Practice Manager would call me but I had heard nothing. This lady was extremely helpful and directed me to the practice website and advised me to complete an e-consult form. I did so and received a call back to confirm I would receive a call from a GP the following Wednesday before 6pm. On the Tuesday I received a text message from the Practice Manager, advising me that there was nothing they could help me with. Definitely not advise from a medical professional as I had requested. I fail to see how this is appropriate in any way. I pay NI in order to obtain professional medical advice, not a text message from a Practice Manager a week after I was told she would call me.
